      | Jacob Newman had a great day on September 7, 2013. He showed a lot of character and heart, he was sick and did not feel well. He matched his biggest day as a Raven. He may need to be sick all the time. Jacob had a 405 yard day performance with three touchdowns, the longest touchdown run of 99 yards called back. He finished with 305 official yards. Jacob added 6 touchdowns from his jamboree and opening game, to his career high of 130 touchdowns to make it 136 career touchdowns. Jacob had probably his biggest day as a Raven ever on September 14, 2013. He officially finished with 329 yards and 4 TDs. He had a 81 yard TD called back the last play of the half. He also had a 47 yard TD called back late in the fourth quarter on a holding call, unofficially giving him a 457 rushing day in a six TD day preformance. Jacob had a 3 yard TD run on fourth down in overtime to win the game. Jacob had a very good day facing a very good PAL team on September 21. They had a defense geared to stop him as all defenses are geared to stop him. He ran for 10 carries for 186 yards, 2 TDs and 1 extra point. He scored 14 of the 21 points for the Ravens. On October 5, it was a tough game for Jacob against Lake Norman, but he managed to grind out 168 yards and 2 TD. October 12, Jacob has a record breaking day. Probably his best day as a Raven, He had 20 carries for 443 yards and 3 TD and 1 extra point. He had two back to back 90 yard TDs. To God be the glory! On October 19 against a very stuborn MARA defense, who keyed in on him the whole game, Jacob managed 164 yards. He had a 75 yard kick off return for a TD. Bringing his total rushing yards for the year to 1772. He also had 2 TDs. Porter Ridge Mighty Mites, Year 1- 2069, TDs 25 Porter Ridge Mighty Mites, Year 2- 2878- 34 TDs Porter Ridge Junior Pee Wees, Year 3-2528- 28 TDs (present) Jacob had one of his biggest days as a Raven on October 26. He ran for 403 yards on 26 carries and 6 TDs. He lead his Raven team to another victory with a score of 39-33. This is Jacob's third consecutive year rushing for over 2000 yards. He is over 6000 yards in three seasons.He has had 82 TDs in the last 3 seasons up to this point. Jacob had another great day as a football player, November 2. In every game he goes into the other team is keying in on him. He led the Ravens to a 38-25 victory over a very good Steel Creek team. He had 18 carries for 353 yards and 5 TDs bringing his total yards to 2528 and total TD to 28. He needs 472 yards to reach 3,000. Jacob has a pretty good game on November 9 considering he did not carry the ball very much. He finished with 11 carries for 232 yards. He ended the season with 2,760 total yards and 31 touchdowns.
